Since 2015, Annette has been acting in short films and also in her own series featuring unique characters that have become a household name amongst most Singaporeans. In 2026 she played the lead in Dream Stall, and recently completed shooting for a major role in a new film by a global studio. That will be slated for release in Mid-2027.
