Annette Lee and the cast of Dream Stall invite you to the gala premiere of her debut movie! Join us for a night of celebrating our shared Singaporean identity on the big screen this 21st May 2026 (Thurs) held at The Star Theatre.

This invitation is for 2 groups of people:
Group A: 50 pairs (100 people) from the public can enter the ballot for tickets to the Gala Premiere
Group B: F&B owners/hawkers can just RSVP below. They will be honoured during the evening with a special surprise.

6:00pm - Doors Open / Ticket Collection
6:30pm - Red Carpet Segment Commences
7:15pm - Guests to start taking their seats
8:00pm - Gala premiere special program commences
Dress Code
In line with taking pride in our unique hawker culture, we encourage everyone to come in your own version of: Hawker Couture
Whether you accessorise with a good morning towel, or don a food-themed dress; come have fun at the red carpet show at 630pm in your most creative outfits and celebrate hawker culture in your own fashion!

(A) Ballot closes by 16 May. All ages welcome.
(B) If you have any gifts or letters for the cast/team, there will be someone at the L5 foyer cloakroom (near the ladies toilet) who will receive them. Please attach your name and who the gift is for
(C) Entry at this event constitutes consent to be filmed/photographed for possible media use.
About the Director
With a strong passion for storytelling, Annette studied filmmaking in NTU’s School of Art, Design & Media, where she wrote and directed several award-winning short films that have been screened at various film festivals.
One of her student short films, Graduation, represented Singapore at the Hongkong International Mobile Film Awards, and won Best Art Direction at the Singapore Short Film Awards. It also earned a Best Screenplay nomination at the National Youth Film Awards, while her thesis film, Keep Mum, earned her a Best Director nomination.
Annette has since created viral comedy videos on social media, as well as various webseries, such as the heartwarming comedy series Asian Billionaires which she wrote, directed and starred in. She also co-created the unique comedy music video series called The Ann & Ben show, best known for 这个那个 (The Cai Fan Song)
With her debut film Dream Stall, Annette hopes to tell an authentic story about the modern Singaporean dream.
